The students will be introduced to different Bible stories and the life lessons within the stories. They will become familiar with the religious items and artistic symbols of the synagogue and understand the relationship between the value of the community and synagogue. The students will study the Hebrew alphabet. They will also begin learning to read the Shabbat and holiday blessings.
