The major components of the First Grade curriculum include ways to observe and celebrate the Jewish holidays, mitzvot, and values. The students will explore the values of respect and sensitivity to others and study mitzvot and its role in Jewish life. Students will begin to acquire a Hebrew vocabulary of key words and concepts.
