The major components of the Fourth Grade curriculum are Hebrew, Israel, Jewish values and Bible Stories. The students will learn and interpret the Ten Commandments and be introduced to the mitzvot of daily life and holidays. They will explore the different regions of Israel where they will learn and what Israeli children do for fun, their favorite sports, what they like to eat as well as the basic geographical layout of the country. The students will read Bible stories of our ancient Prophets and community leaders and be able to apply them to personal concerns of today. In Hebrew, they will continue decoding and reading as they work toward comprehending the prayers and blessings of our people.
