Third Grade

Kitah Gimmel (3rd – 4th Grade)

Year 1
Kitah Gimmel students explore their understanding of God through a Reform perspective. They’ll discover the “WHAT” of being Jewish and what it means to live Jewishly in a modern world. Focusing on Tikkun Olam, and real-life applications of Jewish values, this year sparks a deeper connection to identity, community, and purpose. With meaningful lessons in middot and mitzvot, students begin to see themselves as active partners with God in creating a better world.

Year 2
Kitah Gimmel students love focusing on bringing their Judaism to life! Students will dive into the importance of Reform Jewish connection to the State of Israel both historically and in a modern context. Students will also learn about famous Jewish leaders from all around the world and their impact on society. From King David to Albert Einstein and Golda Meir, students will recognize which Jewish people framed Jewish life past and present.
